Route 1 Band History
The Route One Band is a Country and Classic Rock Band which plays the Cecil County area. The band started in 2001 as a three piece. Before that Jeff and Scott were playing together in the Craig Austin Band. When that broke up Scott called Mike who he had played with in the Hardtimes Band and they became the Route 1 Band. They remained a three piece for 5 years until Steve came along who had formerly been a member of the Southern Junction Band and Murphyz Law and also does one man shows. The band decided to move Jeff out front so Dave (formerly with Murphyz Law) was brought in to play drums in 2006.
